Our shrine of St. Joseph was in bad need of refurbishing. By the time our East Wall Project was finished in 2022, this area of our enclosure yard had been behind a fence for an entire year and weeds had become unmanageable! Plus, further digging to install drainage pipes added to the chaos. Cole Wyland to the rescue! Cole is a member of Boy Scout Troop 2098 of Ebensburg and spent much of 2022 on his Eagle Scout Project along with his family and other Troop members.
Cole redesigned and installed a beautiful rock pathway, new plantings for the center bed and new trees and bushes for the side flower beds and mulched the entire Shrine area for a finished look. In the photos, there are samples from several seasons after the project to show how beautifully it turned out.
We are so grateful to Cole for all his hard work in leading this project and congratulate him on gaining his Eagle Scout Award. God bless you and St. Joseph reward you!
